POSITION SUMMARY The Vehicle Maintenance department, which is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and safety devices of all Steamboat Ski & Resort's motorized equipment is looking for a Slope Vehicle Shop Supervisor. If you have an interest in the root operations that keep a ski area running with mechanical and team experience related to heavy equipment, snowcat, vehicle, bus, and/or small engines, this might be the right fit for you!A pdf or word document of your resume is required with online application. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Work with, and supervise, a range of mechanics while ensuring compliance with safety, company direction, and regulatory requirementsOversee proper maintenance of equipmentPrioritize and plan repair schedulingAssist with order and maintenance of parts inventoryRecord and manage accurate repair orders in NAPA TRACSPerformance evaluations of reporting employeesOperate a wide variety of equipment in a safe and efficient mannerAssist with shop, and general, shipping and receivingCommunication, training, and engagement with teams from other departmentsMaintain a clean and efficient workspaceOther duties, as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS5+ years' experience required with related secondary education preferredMechanical, hydraulic, and electrical system proficiency with associated diagramsAppropriate toolsetMetal working and fabrication (welding, cutting etc.) preferredSelf-motivated and goal orientatedPrevious supervisory skills and experience preferredAbility to interact and maintain positive relationships with co-workers, guests, and management consistent with SSRC's Service Excellence standardsConsistent role model for company's Service Excellence standardsEDUCATION REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or GEDThe base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position.
