Job Description: SIM Triage Operator / Contract, Extendable 6-months / Onsite, Sunnyvale, CA Responsibilities: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our Triage Ops team. The primary responsibility of this role is to triage autonomous vehicle issues across on-road and simulation domains. The role requires a combination of strong data analysis skills for issue detection and root cause identification, and hands-on software engineering experience to investigate, fix, and close bugs in a production AV system. Analyze Simulation and on-road data including logs, sensor outputs, metadata, and video to identify, categorize, and route issues. Correlate on-road issues with SIM scenarios to support reproduction, regression testing, and coverage improvement. Apply established triage standards and distinguish between SIM tooling issues and AV stack behavior issues. SIM Tooling & Workflow Support Use dashboards, replay tools, log viewers, and triage platforms to investigate and track issues. Develop scripts for log queries, data extraction, batch tagging, and workflow automation. Maintain triage dashboards, filters, queries, and process documentation. Required Skills: Experience with autonomous vehicle systems, simulation environments, or related domains. Experience analyzing logs, sensor data, video, and metadata to identify and categorize issues. Scripting experience with Python, SQL, or similar tools for automation and data analysis. Scripting experience with Python, SQL, or similar tools for automation and data analysis. Familiarity with Jira, dashboards, log viewers, replay tools, or similar triage and issue tracking systems. Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills. Experience maintaining technical documentation and operational workflows. Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to consistently apply triage standards and prioritization criteria. Preferred Skills: Experience with Simulation work and/or triage. Knowledge of autonomous vehicle software stacks including perception, planning, and controls. Experience building or maintaining automation scripts and triage dashboards. Familiarity with data analytics and workflow optimization tools. Experience supporting AI-assisted triage workflows or tooling.
