Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced Shop TIG Welder / Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of TIG welding and metal fabrication experience and be capable of producing high-quality weldments while maintaining productivity and safety standards.ResponsibilitiesPerform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel materials.Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work orders.Measure, cut, fit, assemble, and fabricate metal components to specifications.Set up and operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, drill presses, and other shop tools.Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for quality and accuracy.Maintain welding equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.Work independently and as part of a team to meet production schedules.Assist with shop organization, material handling, and general housekeeping.Identify and troubleshoot fabrication and welding issues.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of TIG welding and fabrication experience required.Strong experience welding stainless steel; aluminum experience preferred.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.Proficient with measuring tools including tape measures, calipers, and squares.Experience with metal cutting, grinding, fitting, and assembly.Ability to perform high-quality cosmetic and structural welds.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.Preferred QualificationsWelding certifications (AWS or equivalent) are a plus.Experience in modular construction, manufacturing, or industrial fabrication environments.Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.
