Overview

Curry Supply Company is seeking a hands-on Shop Foreman to lead its team in a full-service truck and equipment repair facility. Located in Curryville, Pennsylvania, the role focuses on managing shop workflow, leading technicians, and ensuring efficient job completion while maintaining a safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the shop and coordinate technician workload
  • Assign and prioritize repair orders for trucks, trailers, and equipment
  • Assist with advanced diagnostics (diesel engines, electrical, aftertreatment, hydraulics)
  • Ensure jobs are completed accurately, on time, and within budget
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
  • Enforce safety procedures and regulatory compliance
  • Communicate with service advisors and customers on job status and approvals
  • Order parts
  • Train, mentor, and support technicians to improve productivity
  • Step in on repairs as needed to keep workflow moving

Required skills

  • 5+ years of experience in diesel truck and/or heavy equipment repair
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, emissions systems (DPF/DEF), hydraulics, and electrical diagnostics
  • Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred
  • Ability to read diagnostic software and service manuals
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • CDL preferred but not required
  • Experience in fleet maintenance environments
  • Knowledge of Class 6-8 trucks and trailers
  • Familiarity with construction or agricultural equipment
  • Welding/fabrication skills (a plus)
