Overview

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a Sex Offender Treatment Program Clinician to join their team in Georgetown, Delaware. This role involves providing clinical therapy for individuals in the correctional system who are classified as sex offenders, utilizing evidence-based practices to support rehabilitation and reintegration.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform group therapy interventions and individual treatment planning for clients
  • Conduct Sexual Risk Assessment Interviews and write Sexual Risk and Needs Assessments
  • Complete Discharge Summaries for client's post-treatment participation
  • Assist in planning and implementing the goals and objectives of programs and projects
  • Prepare necessary documentation, treatment notes, and reports in clinical language
  • Attend trainings and meetings and work towards completing Sex Offender Specific training

Required skills

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or counseling
  • Licensed (LCSW, LPCMH) or actively working towards a license
  • Experience providing clinical therapy to individuals with sexual offending behavior
  • Experience with Sexual Risk Tools such as Static99r, STABLE-2007, and ISORA
  • Experience implementing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in a therapeutic setting
  • Trauma informed care knowledge and experience working with a forensic population
