Job Description

Overview

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a Sex Offender Treatment Program Clinician for their Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown, Delaware. The role involves working with male and female patients classified for sex offender treatment, emphasizing a supportive and respectful work environment for staff.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct group therapy interventions and individual treatment planning
  • Perform Sexual Risk Assessment Interviews and write Risk and Needs Assessments
  • Complete Discharge Summaries for clients post-treatment
  • Assist in planning and implementing program goals and objectives
  • Prepare documentation, treatment notes, and reports using clinical language
  • Attend required trainings and work towards credentialing with the Delaware Sex Offender Management Board

Required skills

  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or counseling
  • Licensed clinician (LCSW, LPCMH) or actively working towards licensure
  • Experience with sexual risk assessment tools and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Training in trauma-informed care and experience with forensic populations
