Overview

AmeriGas is seeking a customer-focused Service Technician to join their team in Brooksville, Florida. This role involves installing and repairing propane systems while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction in a vital position within the nation's largest propane distributor.

Key responsibilities

  • Safely operate a propane service vehicle along designated routes
  • Repair existing propane tanks for residential and commercial customers
  • Install new propane tanks and systems as needed
  • Perform delivery representative functions on an as-needed basis
  • Adhere to all federal and state codes, regulations, and company safety policies
  • Utilize required Personal Protective Equipment consistently
  • Work 8 to 12-hour shifts based on service demands

Required skills

  • Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Completion of a DOT physical and drug test
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs
  • Previous experience in HVAC, plumbing, maintenance, or mechanical work is preferred
