Overview

Rudd Equipment Company is looking for a Service Coordinator to manage the dispatch of Service Technicians to customer sites, ensuring operational efficiency and exceptional customer service. The role requires an in-office presence and involves a range of responsibilities from scheduling and customer communication to technician safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate and dispatch Field Service Technicians for equipment service.
  • Manage scheduling of field service activities.
  • Handle customer inquiries and technical questions.
  • Monitor service calls and communicate with customers regarding additional needs.
  • Maintain records of customer requests and services performed.
  • Ensure technician safety and compliance through reporting tools.
  • Prepare equipment repair quotations.
  • Open and monitor service/repair work orders for accuracy.
  • Perform duties in accordance with quality standards and safety procedures.

Required skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of three years' experience in the construction and mining equipment industry
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word)
  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Experience in customer service and technical support
