Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated individuals to join their team as Senior Tax Experts - Retail On-Site in TurboTax locations during the tax season. This role combines tax expertise and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs, and involves serving as a trusted advisor to empower clients towards positive financial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a proactive community ambassador for TurboTax by engaging with prospects and converting them into long-term clients.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and complete tax preparation services, handling simple to complex tax situations.
  • Conduct tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, and provide tax planning advice.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences through professionalism and genuine interest in clients' financial goals.
  • Utilize both in-person interactions and virtual communication tools to connect with clients.
  • Assist in local marketing efforts and lead community events to promote TurboTax.

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential with tax preparation experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual tax returns per season
  • Familiarity with Circular 230 and possession of a Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
  • Flexible availability for 25-34 hours a week, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to build long-term relationships
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and experience with tax preparation software
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
