Intuit is looking for motivated individuals to join its team as Senior Tax Experts - Retail On-Site for a seasonal role across various TurboTax locations in the United States. This position combines tax expertise with community engagement, focusing on attracting new customers, providing tax advice, and fostering long-term relationships to support Intuit's mission of empowering financial prosperity.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a community ambassador for TurboTax, engaging with new prospects and converting them into long-term clients.
  • Provide comprehensive tax preparation services and advice for personal and business income, ensuring accurate filings.
  • Lead local marketing events and make tax topics accessible to the community.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences by addressing inquiries and helping clients achieve their financial goals.
  • Utilize TurboTax software and resources to deliver personalized tax solutions.

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney credential with strong tax preparation experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season
  • Familiarity with Circular 230 and professional tax preparation software
  • Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with technology including tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
