Overview

Intuit is looking for motivated Senior Tax Experts - Retail On-Site to assist customers with their tax needs in Park Ridge, Illinois. This seasonal role emphasizes community engagement and tax expertise, leveraging Intuit's TurboTax products to provide personalized support and build long-term customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a community ambassador for TurboTax, engaging with potential customers and leading local events.
  • Provide hands-on tax advice and full tax return preparation services for clients.
  • Conduct discovery sessions and tax reviews to identify deductions and optimize tax liabilities.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences by connecting with clients and addressing their inquiries.
  • Utilize TurboTax marketing support and software to grow the client base in the local community.

Required skills

  • Active EA, CPA, or practicing attorney credential with tax preparation experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience filing 50 or more federal and state 1040 tax returns per season.
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and familiarity with Circular 230.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
