Job Description

Overview

GXM Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support advanced defense and space-related mission programs focused on Command and Control (C2), mission systems integration, cloud modernization, and enterprise capability delivery. The role involves applying systems engineering principles throughout the system lifecycle and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure systems integration and interoperability.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and manage Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for integrations
  • Support interface governance activities including change control and technical reviews
  • Define and implement data standardization approaches for improved interoperability
  • Assist with enterprise architecture activities to align systems with architectural standards
  • Manage system requirements, technical baselines, and documentation
  • Support system integration, verification, validation, and testing activities
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve technical issues and support capability delivery
  • Participate in technical reviews and stakeholder engagements
  • Identify technical risks and support the development of mitigation strategies

Required skills

  • Active TS/SCIL clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant technical discipline
  • 12 years of professional systems engineering experience
  • Experience with developing managing system requirements and technical documentation
  • Familiarity with systems engineering processes and technical baseline management
  • Experience with Agile, DevSecOps, or modern engineering environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience supporting defense, space, intelligence, or multi-domain environments
