Position SummaryThe Senior Sales Manager is a high-impact, revenue-driven role responsible for generating new business, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting the Director of Sales in achieving overall property revenue goals (e.g., $1.5M+ in annual group room revenue).This is an elevated sales position requiring a proven track record of consistent, high-level production, strategic prospecting, and strong closing ability. The ideal candidate brings hotel sales experience (Marriott experience preferred), deep knowledge of the Dallas market, and the ability to proactively drive business to the hotel.What You Will AccomplishKey ResponsibilitiesConsistently achieve and exceed assigned revenue and production goals through proactive sales effortsIdentify, solicit, and secure new business through prospecting, networking, and market engagementManage and grow a portfolio of key accounts while developing new client relationshipsPartner closely with the Director of Sales to support overall sales strategy and lead generation effortsRespond to leads, RFPs, and inquiries with urgency and strategic positioning to maximize conversionConduct site tours, client meetings, and presentations to showcase the propertyNegotiate contracts and close business aligned with revenue goals and brand standardsMaintain accurate sales reporting, forecasting, and CRM documentationCollaborate with Revenue Management, Operations, and Events teams to ensure successful execution of booked businessRepresent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functionsStay informed on market trends, competitive set activity, and demand drivers within the Dallas marketSupport the Director of Sales in driving overall team performance and achieving departmental goalsWhat You Will BringQualificationsProven track record of achieving $1.5M+ in annual group room revenue production or comparable revenue goalsMinimum 4-6 years of hotel sales experience, with a strong record of production and goal achievementMarriott experience highly preferredExperience in group, corporate, or transient sales segments preferredProven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close business at a high levelStrong knowledge of the Dallas market and key demand driversSkills & CompetenciesResults-driven with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales goalsStrong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsStrategic thinker with the ability to identify revenue opportunitiesHighly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-throughProficient in CRM systems, hotel sales systems (Delphi, FOSSE preferred), and Microsoft OfficeAbility to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environmentWork Environment & ExpectationsThis is an onsite position based in Dallas, TXMust be available to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends based on business needsActive participation in local market events and client engagement is expected
