Job DescriptionJob DescriptionArnold Community Bible Church (Arnold, NE) - Senior PastorThe Big PictureArnold Community Bible Church () is seeking a Senior Pastor who will faithfully preach the Word of God, shepherd the congregation, and equip believers for the work of ministry. The pastor will provide spiritual leadership, foster discipleship, and work alongside church leaders to strengthen the life and mission of the church. The church believes the pastor is called to "equip the saints," leading the congregation through the faithful preaching of God's Word, personal shepherding, and the development of a healthy, active body of believers who serve Christ together. Requirements Job ProfilePreach an expositional sermon each Sunday, providing sound, faithful teaching rooted in ScriptureEnsure that the ministry of the Word and the Gospel remains central in the life of the churchProvide pastoral care through prayer, encouragement, and exampleLead the church toward spiritual growth and maturity - teaching the congregation to address immaturity, carnality, and spiritual stagnationShow the congregation how to properly interpret and legitimately apply the Bible for themselvesEquip members to grow as disciples of Jesus ChristDevelop and mentor leaders within the congregation, encouraging shared rather than centralized ministryWork in cooperation with the Elders and Trustees in guiding the churchProvide oversight for paid staff and ministry leadersMaintain regular availability through office hours or reliable communication, supporting the orderly and effective operation of church ministriesBuild relationships with other local pastors and churches, participating in cooperative ministry efforts consistent with the church's statement of faithEncourage the believer's presence and witness in the broader community - helping the church develop a plan to share the Gospel with ongoing training Benefits The ProcessPlease look over this job description and the church's Facebook page.
