Vandamme Law Firm, PC is looking for a Senior Paralegal with experience in personal injury and employment law to join their team in New York. The role involves providing in-office support to attorneys and ensuring high-quality service for clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals
  • Conduct legal research to support proceedings
  • Draft and review legal documents
  • Review client files and medical records for discovery requests
  • Communicate with clients
  • Schedule client medical appointments and deposition dates
  • Record and store client information
  • Help maintain office calendar
  • Make phone calls to assist in case resolution

Required skills

  • At least two years of experience as a personal injury and/or employment paralegal
  • College degree
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Familiarity with legal research
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • College-level writing skills and command of English grammar
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Minimum of 40 wpm typing speed
  • Professional demeanor
