Overview

Capital One is seeking a Senior Lead AI Engineer to help develop responsible and reliable AI systems that enhance the banking experience. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered products, as well as optimizing large-scale AI systems.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components
  • Leverage Open Source and SaaS AI technologies
  • Invent and introduce LLM optimization techniques for AI systems
  • Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap for AI systems

Required skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields
  • At least 6 years of experience developing AI and ML algorithms or technologies
  • Proficiency in Python, Go, Scala, or Java
  • Experience deploying AI solutions on cloud platforms
  • Ability to lead and mentor engineering teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
