Overview

As a Senior Lead AI Engineer at Capital One, you will be instrumental in creating responsible AI systems that enhance banking experiences. Working within the Intelligent Foundations and Experiences (IFX) team, you will partner with various stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered products that streamline customer interactions and improve operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products.
  • Design, develop, test, and support AI software components.
  • Leverage open-source and SaaS AI technologies for development.
  • Invent and introduce optimization techniques for large-scale AI systems.
  • Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap of foundational AI systems.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, or related field plus 6 years of experience, or a Mas
  • 6 years of programming experience with Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
  • Experience deploying scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Ability to lead and mentor engineering teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience developing AI and ML algorithms using Python, C++, C#, Java, or Golang.
  • Passion for staying current with AI research and applying techniques in production.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
