Overview

Vensure Employer Services is looking for a Senior Immigration Attorney to join their fast-paced immigration law firm in Rockville, MD. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in immigration law and a passion for helping individuals and families navigate the U.S. immigration process.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and file various immigration petitions and applications
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws and regulations
  • Communicate effectively with clients to gather documentation and provide updates
  • Prepare for and represent clients in interviews or appointments before immigration authorities

Required skills

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Bar license in Virginia or Maryland (active and in good standing)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in immigration law
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage case deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual communication skills (especially Spanish) a plus
  • Technologically proficient; experience with immigration law platforms and case management systems
