Position: Senior Financial AnalystLocation: Grand Rapids, MICompensation: $70,000-$85,000 + bonus potentialSchedule: Onsite (with flexibility) About the Senior Financial Analyst Opportunity A growing and highly respected organization in the Grand Rapids area is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join it's Corporate Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an FP&A professional who enjoys partnering with business leaders, influencing decisions, and helping drive financial performance across multiple departments. This role offers significant visibility throughout the organization and the chance to act as a trusted financial partner to department leaders. The successful candidate will help lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost management efforts while supporting strategic initiatives and process improvements. Why Consider This Opportunity? Strong team-oriented and collaborative culture On-site fitness center Frequent team outings and employee events Exposure to senior leadership and decision-makers Opportunity to own finance processes and make a visible impact Career growth and advancement potential Stable organization with a positive work environment What You'll Do Partner with department leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Own annual budget and quarterly forecast processes for assigned business functions Analyze monthly financial performance and explain budget-to-actual variances Develop financial models, business cases, and recommendations to support decision-making Prepare executive-level financial reporting and presentations Monitor spending trends, identify risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights Support SG&A planning and cost management initiatives Help improve reporting processes, financial systems, and automation efforts Collaborate cross-functionally with leaders throughout the organization What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field 3+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or related financial analysis experience Strong budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skills Advanced Excel proficiency Experience working with financial systems and reporting tools Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with leadership teams Ability to work independently while building strong cross-functional relationships Process-improvement mindset and interest in driving efficiencies If you're looking for a role that combines financial analysis, business partnership, and long-term growth potential, we'd love to connect with you.
