Job Purpose Evolve quality data analytics by improving availability and usage of in-house quality information through data analysis using multiple data sources to evaluate, summarize, and draw conclusions to identify trends that leads to strategy development. Key Accountabilities Subject Matter Expert for (NA) QICS, Business Objects and PowerBI (query builder, QICS management, advanced data queries and validation) Oversee quality reporting strategies to empower departments to make informed decisions on Quality/Delivery/Cost metrics using detailed, multi-source data analysis Analyse data, summarize findings, and draw conclusions; provide feedback, attend/conduct project meetings, and prepare reports to communicate project status within and beyond the projects team Provide technical support and mentorship to Quality Reporting/Systems support associates, including guidance on data transformation and analytical approaches Subject matter expert with functional expertise in development of solutions that resolve identified system issues based on validated analytical results Act as advisor for management of current QICS defects, using trend analysis and risk-based prioritization Support the strategic vision for data analytic tools and processes (new applications and best practices), including automation and visual management concepts PDCA activity driving reporting and escalation changes within the division of quality information, informed by data integrity checks and trend validation Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Minimum Educational QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics / Data science / Computer Science or in related technical / STEM field of study or equivalent relevant industry experience. Minimum ExperienceAt least 5 years of relevant industry experience in data analytics, data quality or similar. Candidate should also bring to the table demonstrable expertise in using Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint etcMust have PowerBI expertise along with good data visualization skills. Other Job-Specific SkillsAbility to technically investigate, derive conclusions from data and analytically approach problem cause phenomena.Strong communication skills (written, verbal and visual) to ensure your analysis is clearly understoodExcellent attention to detailAdvanced experience in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, VBA, Macros etc.)Prioritization skills to manage workload and make sound decisionsProficiency in business intelligence programming (e.g. - Business Objects, Qlikview, PowerBI, Tableau, or other open-source tools)Skills in SQL querying and Python scripting will be an asset.Ability to troubleshoot complex problems in a team-based work environment.
