KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Tax CC&T - Transformation to join our Business Tax Services practice.Responsibilities:Support tax transformation projects by mapping current-state processes from ERP/G/L through tax return preparation, identifying pain points, risks, and opportunities for improvement Assist in designing future-state tax processes, operating models, workflows, and documentation in collaboration with senior team members and technology specialists Help integrate finance and tax processes across record-to-report activities, including documenting transaction flows, system touchpoints, and tax reporting requirements Support tax workstreams in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) integrations by gathering process and systems information and helping standardize tax operations post-transaction Assist with tax controls, risk assessments, RCMs, control testing, monitoring dashboards, and compliance documentation for SOX, ITGC, and global governance requirements Use AI, data, ERP/tax systems, and automation tools to support analysis, reconciliations, system testing, documentation, auditor requests, and tax process improvement initiatives Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environmentQualifications:Minimum two years of recent tax experience; experience in tax compliance including corporate income tax and/or indirect tax, with an understanding of core tax principles and compliance processes preferred Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; degree in accounting, taxation, finance or business is preferred Exposure to tax process, workflow, template, ERP, tax tool, or systems improvement initiatives, including implementations, enhancements, or upgrades Exposure to supporting tax controls, reconciliations, reviews, audits, risk assessments, or risk and control documentation Interest in working with ERP or tax systems, basic G/L data, and tax data captured in financial systems; curiosity and willingness to build technical fluency are important Experience using AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, or similar platforms for summaries, analysis, content creation, automation, or productivity use casesKPMG LLP and its subsidiaries ("KPMG") complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
