Overview

KPMG is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Business Tax Services practice in Boston. The role involves providing tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse client base, including partnerships, corporations, and S-corporations, while working in a collaborative and innovative environment that emphasizes professional development.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services for various clients
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering industry insights
  • Build and manage client relationships
  • Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants on client projects
  • Deliver high-quality tax service and advice to clients
  • Participate in external market and business activities

Required skills

  • Minimum two years of corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, or law firm
  • Bachelor's degree, J.D., LL.M. in taxation, or Masters in Taxation (MST)
  • Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations, and partnerships
  • Knowledge of ASC 740
  • Excellent advisory and compliance skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and client service teams
