Overview

The Senior Academic/Student Services Manager for Social Justice, Wellness, and Engagement at Contra Costa College oversees various educational service programs aimed at enhancing student health and wellness. This role requires effective management of faculty and staff, program budgets, and involvement in grant management, while fostering a student-centered approach to support academic success and inclusiveness.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee medium to large academic programs and projects, managing budgets.
  • Assist in hiring management, supervisors, and faculty.
  • Train and evaluate assigned staff.
  • Facilitate grant applications and manage grants.
  • Serve as a liaison with college programs, committees, and community groups.
  • Prepare annual budgets aligned with college goals.
  • Participate in college governance and community collaboration.
  • Evaluate service delivery models and develop strategies for improvement.

Required skills

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution
  • 2 years of relevant full-time management experience
