Overview

The Saw Operator at Serenity Sliding Door Systems plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency of the production floor by performing tasks such as cutting aluminum extrusions, CNC machining, and aluminum door assembly. This position emphasizes teamwork and quality control to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction in the manufacturing of sliding door systems for various markets.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform cutting of aluminum extrusions and light CNC machining
  • Maintain quality standards during production processes
  • Conduct basic maintenance and care of equipment
  • Provide customer service and engage with team members
  • Follow safety rules and maintain a clean work environment
  • Measure, handle, fabricate, and stage extrusions for packaging
  • Assist the warehouse department with prepping and building hardware sets
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts

Required skills

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or a related industry
  • Experience operating basic power tools and measuring equipment
