Overview

The Sanitation Operations Manager at LSG Sky Chefs in Minneapolis is a key leadership role focused on ensuring optimal performance and compliance within the sanitation department. This position involves overseeing diverse teams in a fast-paced environment, implementing strategies for continuous improvement, and managing departmental budgets and resources effectively.

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and manage daily department operations regarding schedules, productivity, quality, and safety
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and HACCP standards
  • Oversee on-time production for food preparation and catering services
  • Investigate customer quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
  • Participate in daily operations briefings and inventory management
  • Contribute to annual business planning and budgeting for the department
  • Guide and develop subordinate employees according to company policy
  • Implement cost budget control and initiate corrective actions as needed

Required skills
