Overview

Competition Auto Group is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Operations Analyst to support their sales and pre-owned operations through data analysis and reporting. This role requires onsite work in Saint James, NY, within a collaborative, family-owned dealership environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze all sales and lead data
  • Prepare custom reports
  • Identify opportunities for performance improvements
  • Prepare custom analysis spreadsheets
  • Participate in performance analysis discussions
  • Develop custom analysis applications
  • Assist with pre-owned operations pricing and performance analysis

Required skills

  • College degree in statistics, business analytics, mathematics, or similar analytics focus
  • Internship and/or 1+ year of similar experience preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Expertise in Excel and Google Sheets required
  • Some knowledge of software programming and database management preferred
