Overview

The Safety, Risk & Compliance Specialist at Knobelsdorff Enterprises plays a pivotal role in compliance and quality assurance, supporting the organization’s safety and regulatory programs. This position involves administering safety systems, managing documentation, and providing field support to strengthen operational consistency and promote a proactive safety culture across various divisions.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Manage emergency response planning and training exercises
  • Assist with incident reporting and documentation accuracy
  • Provide on-site safety support during high-risk activities
  • Maintain records in safety management systems
  • Coordinate and deliver safety training for new hires
  • Support the development and maintenance of safety policies and procedures
  • Promote hazard identification and adherence to safe work practices

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Risk Management, Construction Management, or related field
  • 3+ years of safety, risk, or compliance experience
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with incident management and training systems like Smartsheet and Procore
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
