Job Description

Overview

Knobelsdorff Enterprises is seeking a Safety, Risk & Compliance Specialist to support the organization's safety and regulatory programs. This role involves administering safety systems, conducting audits, and providing on-site support to enhance operational consistency and promote a proactive safety culture across all divisions.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct office and shop site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Assist with incident reporting and evidence gathering for investigations.
  • Support workers' compensation coordination and manage emergency response training.
  • Maintain accurate records in safety and compliance management systems.
  • Assist in the development and rollout of safety procedures and standards.
  • Encourage proactive hazard identification and promote adherence to safety practices.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Risk Management, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of field safety, risk, compliance, or construction experience.
  • Experience with training delivery, safety audits, or compliance programs.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence across levels.
  • Proficient with incident management and audit tools like Smartsheet and Procore.
