Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking RNs and LPNs for private duty homecare positions in Seattle, WA. The roles require a strong emphasis on clinical judgment and implementing patient care plans under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team members
  • Document the patient's plan of care and nursing diagnoses
  • Perform nursing interventions based on priorities and patient care standards
  • Revise care plans according to evaluations and changes in medical care
  • Establish priorities to meet patient care needs in assigned units
  • Other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Nurse License in applicable state
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year prior nursing experience preferred
  • Enteral feeds management
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Ventilator management
