Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for private duty homecare positions in San Ramon, CA. The role requires the ability to make clinical judgments and provide effective patient care under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in patients
  • Document the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes
  • Perform nursing interventions according to established priorities and hospital policies
  • Revise the plan of care based on evaluation and changes in medical plans
  • Use clinical judgment to meet patient care needs in an assigned unit or floor
  • Complete other RN or LPN duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Nurse License for the state of California
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS certification
  • One year prior nursing experience preferred
  • Enteral feeds management
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Ventilator management
