Job Description

Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Providence, RI, responsible for the application of the nursing process and delivery of patient care. The role includes making clinical judgments and working under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare members and document nursing diagnoses
  • Document the patient’s plan of care, expected outcomes, and selected nursing interventions
  • Perform interventions according to identified priorities and hospital policies
  • Revise the plan of care based on evaluations and changes in the medical plan
  • Use clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs
  • Complete other Registered Nurse (RN) duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state of practice
  • Current Health Certificate
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred
