Job Description

Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care and apply the nursing process under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services. The RN will be responsible for clinical assessments and ensuring effective patient care delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in patients
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare members and document nursing diagnoses
  • Document the patient's plan of care based on identified nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes
  • Perform nursing interventions according to priorities and hospital policies
  • Revise the plan of care based on evaluations and changes in medical plans
  • Use clinical judgment in evaluation activities to address patient care needs
  • Complete other Registered Nurse duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state of practice
  • Current Health Certificate
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS certification
  • One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred
