Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Louisa, Kentucky, who will be responsible for patient care through the nursing process. The role requires making clinical judgments efficiently under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care
  • Assesses signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition
  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets data from healthcare members and documents nursing diagnoses
  • Documents the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes
  • Performs nursing interventions according to priorities and hospital policies
  • Revises the plan of care based on evaluations and changes in the medical plan
  • Uses clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs
  • Completes other Registered Nurse (RN) duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Current Health Certificate
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred
