Job Description

Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care by applying the nursing process under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services. The RN will utilize clinical judgment and perform various assessments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assesses signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition
  • Documents the patient’s plan of care using nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes
  • Performs interventions based on priorities and hospital policies
  • Revises the plan of care according to evaluations and changes in medical plans
  • Uses clinical judgment to meet patient care needs
  • Other Registered Nurse (RN) duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Current Health Certificate
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred
