Job Description

Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to take responsibility for patient care using the nursing process. The RN will demonstrate clinical judgment while providing care under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in patients
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data and document nursing diagnoses
  • Document patient care plans with identified nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes
  • Perform nursing interventions according to plan of care and hospital policies
  • Revise the care plan based on evaluations and changes in medical plans
  • Use clinical judgment to establish priorities for patient care
  • Perform other Registered Nurse duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Current Health Certificate
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year prior Registered Nurse experience preferred
