Job Description

Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care using the nursing process and to demonstrate clinical judgment. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in patients
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare members
  • Document nursing diagnoses, expected outcomes, and selected interventions
  • Perform nursing interventions according to priorities and care plans
  • Revise the plan of care based on evaluations and changes in medical conditions
  • Establish priorities to meet patient care needs in the assigned unit or floor
  • Complete other Registered Nurse duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Current Health Certificate
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS certification
  • One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred
