Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver patient care through the application of the nursing process. The role involves utilizing clinical judgment and collaborating with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in patients
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret health data and document nursing diagnoses
  • Document patient care plans with identified nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes
  • Perform nursing interventions according to established priorities and care plans
  • Revise care plans based on evaluation and changes in medical plans
  • Use clinical judgment to prioritize patient care needs on the assigned unit
  • Perform other Registered Nurse (RN) duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Current Health Certificate
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS certification
  • One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred
