Job Description

Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care for both pediatric and adult clients in Savannah, GA. The RN will be responsible for the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care while demonstrating clinical judgment under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating changes in patient condition
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team members
  • Document the patient’s plan of care using nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes
  • Perform nursing interventions based on priorities and hospital policies
  • Revise the plan of care according to evaluations and changes in medical plans
  • Establish priorities to meet patient care needs on an assigned unit
  • Complete other Registered Nurse duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Current Health Certificate
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year of prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred
