Overview

Maxim Healthcare is looking for RNs or LPNs to fill private duty homecare positions in Exton, PA. The role requires making clinical judgments and providing patient care while following a structured care plan under the supervision of a Clinical Manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team members
  • Document patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses and interventions
  • Perform nursing interventions in accordance with the care plan and hospital policies
  • Revise care plans based on evaluations and changes in patient conditions
  • Establish priorities through clinical judgment to meet patient care needs
  • Fulfill other RN or LPN duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Nurse License for the state of practice
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS certification
  • One year prior Nurse experience preferred
  • Pediatric care

  • Ventilator care
