Job Description

Overview

Maxim Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for private duty homecare positions in Exton, PA. The role involves making clinical judgments and providing patient care under the direction of a Clinical Manager, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating changes in the patient's condition
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare team members
  • Document the patient's plan of care and nursing diagnoses
  • Perform nursing interventions according to priorities and standards
  • Revise the plan of care based on evaluations and changes in medical plans
  • Use clinical judgment to meet the patient care needs of assigned units
  • Complete other RN or LPN duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Nurse License for the state of practice
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS certification
  • One year prior nursing experience preferred
