Job Description

Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care and apply the nursing process effectively. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, documenting care plans, and making clinical judgments under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in patients
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from healthcare members and document nursing diagnoses
  • Document the patient's plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes
  • Perform interventions according to identified priorities and hospital policies
  • Revise the plan of care based on evaluation and changes in medical plans
  • Use clinical judgment in evaluation activities to meet patient care needs
  • Complete other RN duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Current Health Certificate
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS certification
  • One year prior RN experience preferred
  • Knowledge of nursing process, patient care, clinical judgment, and healthcare documentation
  • Familiarity with medical equipment
