Overview

The RN Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at Touchstone Communities is a leadership role designed for experienced Registered Nurses who are passionate about mentoring and driving clinical excellence in long-term care. This position provides an opportunity to positively impact the lives of residents and nursing teams while overseeing daily clinical operations and ensuring compliance with high care standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of nurses and CNAs
  • Implement innovative practices to improve resident outcomes
  • Drive compliance with regulatory standards
  • Serve as a role model and resource for the nursing team

Required skills

  • Current and valid Texas RN license (or Compact Party State RN license)
  • At least 2 years of long-term care or skilled nursing leadership experience
  • Strong clinical judgment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Collaborative spirit and a drive to make a meaningful impact
