Job Description

Overview

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to manage the nursing process and ensure the delivery of patient care. The RN will collaborate under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services, demonstrating clinical judgment to meet the needs of patients.

Key responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Assess physiological and psychosocial changes in patient conditions
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret patient data and document nursing diagnoses
  • Document patient plans of care with nursing diagnoses, expected outcomes, and interventions
  • Perform nursing interventions based on care priorities and hospital policies
  • Revise care plans based on evaluations and changes in medical plans
  • Establish priorities to meet patient care needs on assigned unit/floor
  • Complete additional RN duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Health Certificate
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS certification
  • One year prior RN experience preferred
