Overview

As a part-time Retail Sales Associate at Lowe's in Colorado Springs, you'll utilize your customer service skills to assist customers with their home improvement needs. This role emphasizes engaging with customers, providing product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service
  • Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise
  • Replenish supplies and maintain stock levels on shelves
  • Process orders and deliveries efficiently
  • Cross-train in various store departments
  • Prepare merchandise based on customer requirements
  • Guide customers through checkout and shopping processes

Required skills

  • 6 months experience using a computer for data entry
  • Familiarity with retail technology such as smartphones and tablets
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 lbs unassisted
  • 6 months of retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Certification in a trade related to the department is preferred
