Overview

As a Retail Sales Associate at Lowe's, you will engage with customers to assist them in finding the right products for their home improvement needs. This part-time position emphasizes customer service and provides opportunities for growth within the company.

Key responsibilities

  • Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly and professional service
  • Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
  • Process orders and deliveries accurately
  • Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store
  • Prepare merchandise based on customer needs
  • Guide customers through shopping or checkout
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • 6 months of experience using a computer and retail technology
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
  • Ability to perform duties involving prolonged standing and lifting up to 25 lbs unassisted
  • 6 months of retail and/or customer service experience preferred
  • Bilingual skills preferred
  • Certification in trade related to department preferred
