Overview

PetSmart is seeking a Retail Customer Service Supervisor in Chandler, Arizona. This role is crucial in enhancing the pet parent experience by supervising associates, ensuring store cleanliness, and driving customer engagement. The position also entails overseeing operational tasks and maintaining a safe environment for both pets and customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate associate training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Provide feedback on associate performance and handle grievances.
  • Promote pet parent engagement through events and services.
  • Ensure compliance with store standards and operational messages.
  • Assist with live pet sales and addresses discrepancies during inventory counts.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems and manage cash transactions.
  • Ensure store cleanliness and safety for associates and pets.
  • Support other departments as needed.

Required skills

  • 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
