Key responsibilities

  • Provide expert respiratory care, including ventilator management and airway support
  • Conduct diagnostic testing

  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development

Required skills

  • Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • License as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in North Carolina
  • Registry eligible by the National Board of Respiratory Care (CRT or RRT)
  • BLS certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for Adult Care, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) for NICU, Pediatric Advanced L
  • Two years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist preferred for Respiratory Therapist II
