Overview

The Respiratory Care Therapist at UCHealth Broomfield Hospital is responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients in a clinical environment. Key responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care utilizing respiratory therapy protocols
  • Manage ventilator integration and adaptive pulmonary support
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Precept new healthcare staff and welcome new knowledge
  • Contribute to quality and safety at the point of care
  • Engage in clinical and process improvement projects

Required skills

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • State licensure as required
  • ACLS certification within 1 year
  • PALS certification within 30 days
  • BLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross
