Overview

Baker Truck Service is seeking a Residuals Tender to manage the flow of residuals from bins to trailers efficiently. This role involves operating a yard truck to reposition trailers and ensure compliance with safety regulations while working the swing shift.

Key responsibilities

  • Control and maintain residual flow from bins to trailers
  • Operate yard truck to reposition trailers within the yard
  • Ensure efficient loading and unloading of residuals
  • Comply with safety rules and regulations
  • Stage trailers for ease of pickup
  • Report maintenance problems to the Mechanic Shop and Maintenance Department
  • Perform cleanup during and after shifts
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class A, CDL
  • Knowledge of DOT compliance rules and regulations
  • Ability to read and understand printed materials
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive movements and work in varied weather conditions
  • Ability to adapt to loud conditions and airborne particles
