Overview

Baker Truck Service is seeking a Residuals Tender for their Chilco location to manage the flow of residuals from bins to trailers efficiently. The role involves operating a yard truck for trailer repositioning and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate yard truck to reposition trailers
  • Ensure efficient flow of residuals into trailers
  • Comply with safety rules and regulations
  • Keep work area clean at all times
  • Stage trailers for easy pickup
  • Report maintenance issues to the Mechanic Shop
  • Perform all assigned duties and responsibilities
  • Work the Swing Shift from 4:00pm to 12:00am

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Knowledge of DOT compliance rules and regulations
  • Ability to read and understand printed materials
  • Ability to perform shift work and overtime as needed
  • Adaptability to various weather conditions and loud environments
